About the Journal
Journal of Education Policy Praxis is a national peer-reviewed academic journal that publishes original research articles and scholarly papers focusing on education policy with an emphasis on praxis. The journal provides an academic forum for examining how education policies are formulated, implemented, and evaluated within the real contexts of educational systems in Indonesia.
The journal encourages contributions that move beyond normative and regulatory discussions by critically exploring policy implementation processes, institutional dynamics, and practical challenges in educational settings. Published articles are expected to bridge theoretical perspectives and empirical evidence, offering insights into the actual impacts of education policies on governance, teaching and learning processes, and educational quality.
Journal of Education Policy Praxis welcomes manuscripts employing qualitative, quantitative, and mixed-methods approaches, including policy analysis, case studies, program evaluation, document analysis, and reports of good practices in education policy implementation. The scope of the journal covers national and local education policies, curriculum and assessment policy, educational leadership and governance, quality assurance, teacher and staff development policy, and vocational education policy, as well as issues of equity, access, and inclusion in education.
This journal is intended for academics, researchers, graduate students, education practitioners, and policy stakeholders who are concerned with evidence-based education policy and its practical relevance within the Indonesian education context.
