Abstrak

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan pemerintah serta masyarakat Desa Erelembang, Kecamatan Tombolo Pao, Kabupaten Gowa, dalam mengembangkan desa wisata berbasis pariwisata berkelanjutan. Kegiatan dilaksanakan melalui metode sosialisasi dan pendampingan yang melibatkan ceramah mengenai konsep pariwisata berkelanjutan serta praktik penentuan potensi wisata lokal. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan antusiasme dan kesadaran masyarakat terhadap pengelolaan sumber daya lokal secara berkelanjutan. Diskusi yang dilakukan mengidentifikasi tantangan utama seperti minimnya infrastruktur, kurangnya kompetensi sumber daya manusia, dan rendahnya dukungan pemerintah daerah. Sebagai solusi, tim pengabdian merekomendasikan pengembangan agro-ekowisata melalui pembentukan kelompok kerja, pelatihan kapasitas masyarakat, pembangunan infrastruktur, promosi melalui media sosial, dan kolaborasi lintas sektor. Dampak kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat membuka peluang ekonomi baru, meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat, dan menjadikan Desa Erelembang sebagai model desa wisata berbasis kearifan lokal dan berkelanjutan.
