This journal provides immediate open access to its content based on the principle that making research freely available to the public encourages a wider global exchange of knowledge. The Journal of Public Policy and Local Government (JPPLG) ensures that all published articles are openly accessible without fees or time restrictions.

All articles published under Open Access are permanently free for anyone to read and download. Under the CC BY license, authors retain the copyright to their work while granting permission for others to use, share, or adapt the content of publications in JPPLG, either in whole or in part, as long as the original work is properly cited. Users are required to acknowledge the source by including the author’s name, JPPLG as the original place of publication, the year of publication, the volume and issue number, the page range, and the DOI, which is mandatory to include in every citation.
