Peer Review Process

Submitted papers are evaluated by anonymous referees through blind peer review for contribution, originality, relevance, and presentation. The editor will notify the results of the review as soon as possible, hopefully between 2-3 weeks. Please note that the review process may take up to 2 months to submit a paper to Journal of Public Policy and Local Government (JPPLG).

Reviewers examine the text from aspects of the quality and substance of the writing (not the grammar of the text), which include freshness, originality, usefulness, and validity of quotations and bibliography.

Reviewers receive double-blind review manuscripts (author anonymous) from the section editor or editorial secretariat. If it is not following their competence, the reviewer has the right to reject the manuscript and recommend it to another more competent reviewer.

Prospective reviewers should have an interest and enthusiasm to improve the quality of the journal and have competence in following the scope of the scientific journal.

Prospective reviewers contact the editorial secretariat to register on the journal website. In this case, prospective reviewers must fill out the Call For Reviewer Form.
